At Guyco Construction, we take pride in delivering exceptional projects that leave a lasting impact. Our recent collaboration with Tauraroa Area School (TAS) resulted in the creation of a state-of-the-art gymnasium.

Project Highlights:

• Design-Build Excellence: TAS entrusted us with a 758 m2 gymnasium, complete with changing facilities, a kitchen, offices, storage areas, and a welcoming lobby entrance. Our steel building system seamlessly integrated all these elements, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• Navigating Challenges: Despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, our team remained resilient.
• On-Time Delivery: The gymnasium was completed on schedule, ready for the start of the school year in 2021. Our commitment to quality and efficiency shone through, even during uncertain times.
• Community Impact: Beyond its role as a school facility, the gymnasium serves as a vibrant community space. It’s where students learn, athletes train, and neighbours gather—a testament to the power of thoughtful construction.
• Challenges and Success: Despite budgetary and logistical challenges, the gymnasium was successfully completed on time for the start of the school year in 2021. The project’s excellence was recognized when the gymnasium was nominated as a finalist in the New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB) Awardsfor projects between $0.5M and $5M.
